Connect an AI assistant

Your alliance's roster, stats and events live behind your sign-in. Connect an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Claude and it can look up your alliances, roster players and approved stat history on your behalf — with your permissions, never anyone else's.

MCP server URL

Paste this URL into your AI assistant's connector settings.

You'll be asked to sign in to Alliance Command the first time your assistant connects. Tools act as you.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's advanced connector settings and enable Developer mode. If you don't see it, a ChatGPT workspace admin needs to enable it first.
  2. 2Open the "New plugin" dialog directly.
  3. 3Enter Alliance Command as the name and paste the MCP server URL from above.
  4. 4Review the details, tick "I understand and want to continue", then click Create. ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom connector, not just this one.
  5. 5Enable Alliance Command from the chat composer (the + menu), then ask ChatGPT to use it — for example "list my alliances".

Connect Claude

  1. 1Open Claude's Connectors page and choose Add custom connector. Review the details and click Add.
  2. 2If the prefilled form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, then name it Alliance Command and paste the MCP server URL from above.
  3. 3Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it — for example "show my roster".

Connect Claude Code

Run this one-line command in a terminal — no config editing needed.

  1. 1Run the command above in a terminal. The --scope user flag makes the connection work from any folder.
  2. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Alliance Command is connected. It asks you to sign in from that menu the first time.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use the app — for example "get my stats".

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open the client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2Create a remote MCP server connection (HTTP, not a local command).
  3. 3Name the connection Alliance Command and paste the MCP server URL from above.
  4. 4Finish the sign-in or authorization prompt that appears.
  5. 5Enable the connection, then ask your assistant to use the app.

Refresh after the app changes

When this app gains new capabilities, your connected assistant may keep showing its cached tool list until you refresh the connection.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Alliance Command.
  2. Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can't update an existing connector's URL — if it changed, delete the connector and repeat the steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, remove the connector and add it again with the latest URL from above.
  4. Ask Claude to use the app.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools when it connects.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove alliance-command, then run the install command again with the latest URL.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client's MCP server or connector settings and select this connection.
  2. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use the app.
